Band updates ...

Official Statement - The END of Wastefall

The band's situation has not been really good the past few months, since Alexander was studying in Crete (island of Greece) far away from Athens. We did renew our contract with Intromental Management this year and after this we have had the opportunity to play at ProgPower Scandinavia in October 2008. Our drummer Kostis passed his examinations and he will have to leave Greece this summer for a few years, since he will study in a musical university in England, so we found a professional session drummer to help us for this live show. Also Domenik has moved to Germany since 2007 and although he was doing all he could, it was not easy for us to handle our obligations. The band was spread out and it was difficult for all of us to organize our priorities in any way required. We were also in a very difficult economic situation and it was then that Alexander decided to leave Wastefall.

A few words from Alex:
"Due to various complicated reasons and my personal choice to follow my academic studies, I can no longer be a Wastefall member. I want to thank all my band-mates, fans, Claus and Lars from Intromental, Ken at Sensory and Olivier at Replica for all the great times. Concerning music, all I have to say is that I'm going to continue writing music, in a very different style though, and not with the perspective of releasing something soon. It was a great journey I will always remember. I hope that other bands will be influenced by our passion so far and mark their way in the "rotten" music business. Dom, Chris, Nick, Kostis :Love, respect, good luck and apologies. C ya out there."

The beginning and vision of Wastefall was an idea of Alexander and Domenik and since Alexander wasn't available anymore the band's "core" was broken. After this, nothing will be the same so we made the difficult decision and we are really sad to announce the end of Wastefall.

At first we would like to say a big thanks and a lot of apologies to Hercules Loukakis for his time, honesty and will to help us out with the "ProgPower live show" and also thank our former members, Ken Golden from our record label Sensory and Olivier Garnier from our french record label/promotion Replica, Claus Jensen and Lars Larsen from our Official Management, George Karamanos, Nikos Sigklidis and Vicky Michalitsi (Si-lia) for being our personal local management/advertisers, all our friends, our families for supporting us, the local and international magazines, webzines, forums, and finally our fans in all over the world and all those who did believe in Wastefall's dream and supported us all these years.

The band's website, forum, e-mails and web administration, such as any Wastefall profiles all over the internet, for at least some years will be administrated by Christos Kyrkilis in cooperation with any other Wastefall member neeeded.

Site updates ...

We've signed another new band to Intromental - this time it's the Brazilian power metal band ALMAH (check out info on Almah) featuring none other than Angra vocalist Edu Falaschi and Angra bassplayer Felipe Andreoli. The band received great success with their debut album 1 and a half year ago, and now it's time for their second album. We've heard the demo's of it, and we've got no doubt that this will be one of the most impressive power metal releases of recent years. We're very pleased to welcome Almah to the Intromental family.

Based on a mutual decision we're no longer representing Moonlight Agony. We had a lot of fun years with the band, and we wish the guys all the best of luck in the future.

In other news, it is important (and very exciting) to announce that Intromental Management has taken another step ahead in our quest for world-domination (hehe, just kiddin' of course). We have now opened our new headoffice in North Carolina, USA! This means that we have three offices now around the world: Denmark, North Carolina/USA and Georgia/USA. Site updates ...

We've parted ways with Anubis Gate. After 3 albums and 6 years together, it's time for both parties to move on. We wish our friends in the band all the best, and hope to see you guys somewhere down the road.

The exciting news are that we've signed a new band to Intromental - the German progressive metal band TOMORROW'S EVE (check out info on Tomorrow's Eve). We have followed the band's career, and always thought very highly of them. Having listened to their upcoming album, "Tales From Serpentia" (due this spring), we felt it was about time to make the band a part of Intromental. We're looking very much forward to working with the band on all future endeavors. Welcome aboard :-)

Site updates ...

As I'm sure you've all noticed by now, we havent been updating the "management-site" of www.intromental.com much lately. There's actually a reason to our logic, believe it or not; seeing that most of our news nowadays have to do with us booking shows and tours for our bands, the main updates will be at the sites for our European and American bookings (with a few stints into the Austral-Asian territory). The more "normal" updates will be done by the bands themselves at either their official sites or their myspace pages.

Now, back to business ... with the spring coming in on us, it's also time to do some "spring cleaning" at home, and we've got a lot of stuff going on here at Intromental. Some new bands are waiting in the wings to come in, while a few of the older ones are leaving. It's all part of the business, and there's no deeper meaning to it, than things just don't always work out the way you want them to. Circus Maximus being the first one to leave us this spring. We wish them all the best of luck in their future career.

In the coming weeks we will have some more updates ready as to new bands joining, old bands leaving and a big step ahead for the future of Intromental. All to be announced here on these pages. Time to enjoy the spring, see y'all later :-)

Welcome to yet another year in INTROMENTAL MANAGEMENT's "history" :-) We've got lots of exciting things coming up in 2008 that we're looking forward to share with you. If you miss the regular updates on this site, well then you're not alone ... so do we. We've been busier than ever this past fall and that's the main reason for the lack of updates. We've focused a lot on the booking of bands and most of the dates/tours can be found on the seperate sites for Booking Europe and Booking USA. We do however promise to try to give you more regular updates here.

Time has come to part ways with 2 bands. Our contracts have expired and in mutual agreement with the bands we've decided not to renew them. Both bands still remain close friends of ours and we part on really good terms. We wish both Seventh Wonder and Venturia all the best of luck in their future.

An extra concert for the ASTRAL DOORS / SECRET SPHERE tour has been added to the evergrowing schedule. This one is for their show at Club Dread in Borlänge, Sweden on October 19th.

Also, CIRCUS MAXIMUS has set August 23rd as the date for their release party at Smuget in Oslo, Norway for their "ISOLATE" album.

Through the new North American booking department we've also begun a cooperation with Jon Oliva's Pain:

Jon Oliva's Pain is the latest artist to join forces with Intromental Management's new North American booking agency. The band will embark on a select city North American run in early 2008 with an eye towards a full tour in the fall.

North American Promotional Director, Glenn Harveston, states, "I'm obviously thrilled to be working with one of my heroes. Savatage may be on hiatus, but the Mountain King is alive and well. It's time to get him back out in front of the fans here in North America and continue his legacy."

Pathosray signs with Intromental Management and Sensory Records

Up and coming Italian progressive metal band Pathosray has signed a worldwide management deal with Intromental Management.

Said Claus Jensen, Managing Director at Intromental: "Once in a while you come across a new band that just blows you away, and that's what happened with Pathosray and their debut album. The energy and musical talent is on such a high level that we immediately knew this was a band we wanted to work with.".

"We're excited to start a musical relationship with Intromental Management! During the last couple of months we have been working together with them on our first full-length album, and we've already felt a great connection with the management and their enthusiasm and professionality. This is the beginning of a new adventure..." commented Pathosray-bassist Fabio D'Amore.

The signing to Intromental quickly led to a cooperation with famed producer Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Jorn, Pretty Maids etc) to mix and master the album, artist Mattias Norén (Evergrey, Ayreon, Kamelot etc) to create the album cover. More importantly the new relationship brought along a worldwide deal with US-based record label Sensory Records, a division of The Laser's Edge Group, known for having released albums by Spiral Architect, Zero Hour, Gordian Knot and Circus Maximus a.o.

Ken Golden from Sensory Records stated: "Sensory Records is extremely pleased to announce the signing of Italian progressive metal band Pathosray. Italy has been the source of many great progressive metal bands over the past decade - from the bombast of Rhapsody to the technical precision of Raintime and Solid Vision. The music of Pathosray made an immediate impact on us - the music draws from many influences blending melody, heaviness, and technical virtuosity. Vocals are always a key ingredient and with the stunning range of Marco Sandron the world will instantly recognize what we did - Pathosray is a musical force to be reckoned with."

The self-titled debut album will be released October 23rd in USA and October 26th in the rest of the world.

Circle II Circle signs with Intromental Management, North American tour planned

Circle II Circle, led by ex-Savatage vocalist Zak Stevens, has signed a worldwide deal with Intromental Management.

“I’m thrilled to be working with a band that has not only established their reputation in the metal scene as a premiere talent, but is poised to take it to the next level with our help. I have been a fan of Zak’s ever since his days in the mighty Savatage when I first heard “Edge of Thorns”” said Intromental’s Managing Director, Claus Jensen.

Adds Stevens, “We're very excited about the limitless potential that this cooperation presents for us. Intromental's reputation and professionalism is outstanding. Their new partnership with Glenn Harveston directing operations in the USA was also a major factor in our signing with Intromental. We're looking forward to great things to come.”

North American Promotional Director, Glenn Harveston, has declared his intentions for the band as well, “We are going to get the record in the stores and the band out on the road here in the States. Period. We are going to kick off the new year right with Circle II Circle, Circus Maximus, and Manticora joining forces for a North American mini-tour in early 2008.”

Circle II Circle’s last album, “Burden of Truth,” was released in October 2006 via AFM Records.

Band updates ...

Astral Doors will be going out on their first headliner tour throughout Europe in October and November. The dates can be found in the Concert-section of this site. Also 2 other concerts for Astral Doors has been confirmed: August 25 at Krom Club in Uppsala, Sweden and November 11 at Königspalast in Krefeld, Germany (this show is with Blind Guardian and Leaves' Eyes).

The support band on the abovementioned tour will be Secret Sphere - who also have a gig at the Rock Impact Festival in Italy on September 22nd.

Band updates ...

Line-up changes in Fairyland:

"Anthony, Vincent, Tom and Max have decided to leave Fairyland and go on with their own project. The reasons for their departure have not been clearly expressed, and the way they handled the whole business, with direct annoucement on Fairyland's forum prior to any kind of discussion with Intromental Management, Napalm Records, Marquee Avalon, Burrn! Corporation or even me, was not very professional. However, it is their decision and I wish them all the luck they will need to make their new project break through.

Regarding Fairyland, I am and have always been the song writer, also taking care of the lyrics and vocal lines, plus the concept behind my music. So there is no reason why I should stop doing so. The only point I need to think about is whether I will try and build a new line-up, or just stay by myself and use guest musicians from different horizons. that last solution is quite appealing, since it can bring a lot of diversity to Fairyland, plus it will mean I don't have to handle a line-up's personnal issues, which is really time consuming. I'll then be able to concentrate on the music only, and all will be best.

Meanwhile, stay tuned to get a whole bunch of informations about Fairyland's next releases.

Band updates ...

FINALLY !!! After an entire year of knocking down the doors of every f***ng record label around the world, we've finally been able to secure a deal for the fantastic "Core" album by Andorra'n metallers Persefone. This album was released amlmost a year ago in Asia, with aswesome reviews in Burrn! Magazine and other big Japanese press. Now finally Burning Star Records from Greece have been able to realise the potential of this great band, and will be releasing "Core" in the rest of the world (Europe, North America, South America, Australia) in September. The new release will be a 13-song version of the album, that in Asia was released as a 3-song concept. The idea behind making the songs into shorter parts was done with the objective of making it easier to digest for the listener and also provide radiostations with the possibility of airing the album. Also, regarding Persefone ... the entire site for the band has been updated with new pix, biography etc.

The site for Circus Maximus has also been updated with new biography, pix, cover of "Isolate" etc - the release date of the second brilliant album by the Norwegian progressive metallers are August 31st (Europe), September 04th (North America) and October 24th (Japan).

Intromental Management Expands into North America

It is with intense pleasure and great anticipation that we can announce the expansion of Intromental Management into the North America. The U.S.office will be run by Glenn Harveston of HoS Productions, LLC. The primary objectives of the new division will be talent acquisition, artist promotion and development, and establishing a touring presence across North America.

Intromental Management has promoted and managed metal bands across the world since 1996 and includes current bands such as Astral Doors, Circus Maximus, Redemption, Manticora, Wuthering Heights and Pyramaze. HoS Productions is the company behind the prestigious ProgPower USA festival for the past eight years.

Band updates ...

Unfortunately the planned King Diamond European tour - with THE PROWLERS on the Scandinavian part, and with LOCH VOSTOK and MANTICORA on the main-European part - has been postponed. Here's the official statement from King Diamond's own manager:

King has over the past month and a half, been suffering from severe pain in his back, and following several visits to doctors, specialists and most recently an MRI-scan; he has been diagnosed a herniated disc in the spine, and prescribes absolute rest for several of months.

Failure to follow the doctors orders, could cause irreparable damage to his spine, and for obvious reasons there is no way he can go on tour and perform, with all the travel and physical activities this would include.

We expect King to recover fully after a prolonged period of rest, and we are determined to re-schedule the tour dates, not cancel the tour. We all wish the King a speedy recovery and are looking forward to the tour whenever it'll be :-)

CIRCUS MAXIMUS will perform at the Hemnesjazz Festival in Norway on August 09th.

FAIRYLAND will perform at the Heavenfest II Festival in Paris on July 1st.

A lot of the dates for the King Diamond tour have been announced now - this is both the Scandinavian part (with THE PROWLERS) and the European part (with LOCH VOSTOK and MANTICORA). You can find the dates in the concert-section.

LOCH VOSTOK will also be performing 2 gigs in Gaukur Á Stöng, Reykjavik, Iceland (together with Rotting Christ) on August 25th and 26th.

MANTICORA will do a warm-up gig for their tour at The Rock in Copenhagen, Denmark on Octboer 26th.

Intromental Management are very proud to announce that we will have LOCH VOSTOK, MANTICORA and THE PROWLERS participate in the upcoming European King Diamond tour that will run from October through December.

THE PROWLERS will be supporting the King on the Scandinavian part of the tour, commencing on October 17th in Aarhus, Denmark, together with Swedish doom masters Memory Garden.

LOCH VOSTOK and MANTICORA will be the 2 official support bands on the rest of the European tour, from Warszaw, Poland on November 6th to the last date of the tour in early December.

Statement from Oddleif, Erik & Tor Atle / Communic: Time has come to the difficult decision to part ways with our friends at Intromental. We have had a great relationship from the very first day we started to work together and we have come far, wow these three years or whatever it has been has flown away, coming from nothing - and now we are working on our third album. Your support in the startup and building of this band has been an important aspect to the success that we have had with Communic, and I hope it have brought some attention back to Intromental as well - a true quality management with only quality bands in their ranks. I believe, and I hope we part ways as friends, and I hope that we will be on this level forever. We love you guys - from opening your private homes for us, whenever we needed it, and for pushing the right buttons to get us where we are today, but everything has an end, and we believe that we have to go another direction to get us even further on the path we have started on. Thanks to Claus, Lars and crew for a professional relationship, and we wish you guys a successful and healthy future with the management. If any of you ever come to cross Norway, holiday or business, I will certainly open my home for you guys as well...

Statement from Intromental: After 3 succesful years together (including getting the band signed to Nuclear Blast, having 2 releases being #1 in all the big magazines, lots of festival appearances and 2 European tours) we've parted ways with Communic. Of course we are sad about this, as we've been investing a lot in the band both on a professional but also on a personal level, but the change is what the band wants at this stage of their career, so we of course won't hold that against them. We've had some great times together, and always enjoyed working with this band that we have come to see as not just business-partners but also great friends. We wish you all the best of luck in the future guys.

We're really happy to announce that Raintime have signed deals with Lifeforce Records (Europe), Replica Records (France) and Soundholic Records (Japan) for the releases of their second album "Flies & Lies". The album will be released around May 2007. We're still waiting to confirm the last deal with a still unnamed record label for USA, Canada and UK.

The new album by Redemption will be released March 30th in Europe and April 03rd in USA by Inside Out Music.

Two more concerts for RAINTIME has been added to the concert-section of this site; March 9th in Rock Club, Ronchi dei legionari, Italy and May 19th at the Festintenda, Mortegliano, Italy.

Alex and Dominik from Wastefall are going to France on a 3-day promo trip today to promote "Self Exile", and will also be doing a live acoustic session at Hard Rock Café in Paris.

Astral Doors are right now busy recording their 4th full length album, which we hope to have ready for a release early fall 2007.

Lanfear have composed most of the material for their new album, and have also planned to book the studio for March/April to record the album.

PERSEFONE will be performing in Perpignan, France on February 24th. We're working on more dates...

We've parted ways with 3 bands over the past few months:

AVIAN:
Statement from Intromental: Intromental Management would like to thank AVIAN for our time together. The past 2 years has given us both positive (getting "From The Depths Of Time" released in Europe, USA and Japan) and negative (not being able to get the band on a real tour) experiences, but most of the time been constructive and always held in a good spirit between band and management. We'd like to wish the band all the best in their future endeavours, and we would like to point out that the split is totally amicable.
Statement from Avian: The time has come for us to part ways with our managing team at Intromental. Our goal has been achieved of getting our debut cd, "From The Depths of Time", out to most of the world and it is time for both sides to move on to greater things ;-). We will release our next cd in 2007 and live dates will be announced over the coming months so check out our website, www.avianband.com , for all the updates. I'd like to thank Claus, Lars, Rene, and the rest of the gang at Intromental for all of your hard work and wish you guys all the best.

Statement from Intromental and Pantommind: Unfortunately we have to announce that we're parting. It's not something that neither the band nor the management wanted to happen, but for a band coming from Bulgaria it's not affordable to have a management. We regret to say goodbye to eachother, but there's no other solution possible at the moment. We part ways on very good terms and we will stay in contact for possible future collaboration. STRIDE:
Statement from Intromental: We are sorry to announce that we are no longer representing STRIDE at Intromental Management. The band has been with us for 1½ years, and the cooperation has been fruitful in several areas (the promotion of "Imagine" and getting sub-licensing deals in both France and Japan). For reasons beyond our control however, the representation of STRIDE has ended. We wish the band all the best of luck in their future experiences in the music business and hope they will endure nothing but success.
Statement from Stride: We regret that at this time Stride will be parting ways with our good friends at Intromental Management. It is a bitter sweet parting because it is not the way we want it. However, we have had to make some difficult decisions with regards to finishing the new album. We were so excited to sign on with Intromental, and the reputation that precedes them, and they did not disappoint. Claus and his supporting crew have shown us professionalism, friendship, and have bent over backwards in order to help the band. That being said, we have made the difficult decision to drop any touring possibilities in order to focus solely on the new album. This decision was made after many meetings together, so we do not take it lightly. Instead we look forward to putting an album out that Stride fans will find better than "Imagine". ProgPower cancellations ...

ARGHHH - life doesn't always go as planned, right? So, we have to announce 2 cancellations of our bands at the upcoming ProgPower Festivals:

We unfortunately have to announce that WASTEFALL will not be participating in this years "PROGPOWER USA" festival in Atlanta, USA on September 16th. When applying for the visa to be able to perform in USA, we ran into some unexpected problems with the Greek authorities, which have made it impossible for us to go. We're really sorry about this, as we know a lot of fans had been looking forward to seeing us in USA for the first time ever, and we ourselves had been looking very much forward to the whole experience of our first gig outside of Greece. We would like to extend our gratitude to both our label and management for doing what was possible in order to help us solve the problems, and especially we would like to thank Glenn Harveston of ProgPower USA for helping us beyond the call of duty on trying to make ends meet. We really hope to be able to go to ProgPower USA another year and make up for this.
Wastefall/Intromental

It is with sad heart and mind that we have to announce the cancellation of PANTOMMIND on this year's ProgPower Europe Festival. The reason for the cancellation is that Pantommind have lost not 1, but 2 members of the band within just one month, and due to those circumstances it is simply impossible to do a performance that would be representative of the band and the perfectionism they stand for. We are truly sorry and hope that the fans that had anticipated Pantommind's performance will have a chance to see the band live in a not too distant future.

Something completely different ...

Today Lars (our promotional director here at Intromental and vocalist of Manticora) will be married to his lovely Italian girlfriend Federica.

They've been together for 4+ years now, and last year Lars proposed to her on stage in Tours, France when performing with his band. She accepted, and today, 20th of May 2006, they'll get married.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Lars and Federica. May this day be a beautiful one for the both of you and may the rest of your life together be filled with love.

We're very happy to present to you our new signing, the Finnish melodic death metal band Halo Of Shadows. The band impressed us very much with their upcoming debut album "Manifesto" and we're right now getting ready to find the band a good label. In other news, we've now officially parted ways with Degree Absolute. This has been a decision made long ago by both band and management, and isn't based on any ill-will at all. In fact, we're really happy for the time together, and our decision is only based on the fact that it took 5 years to get the debut album done and it might take another long time till the next disc comes out. For the moment we're going to continue promoting the "Degree Absolute" disc for the label towards the European media. Thanks for the time we had together :-)

Good news from Astral Doors: first of all the band has completed their third album "Astralism" - check out cover and tracklist at the site - the album will be released end of March. And even more exiciting news; Astral Doors will be special guests on the September/October European tour of Blind Guardian ... 25 gigs (confirmed - might be more) in 40 days.

And also some great news fromOutworld: the debut album "Outworld" is right now being shopped by Replica Records towards licensing partners around the world, and once those are in place a definite release date will be set. It looks like a May release :-) The band has also announce the inclusion of new drummer Matt Smith. Welcome aboard.

The site for Spheric Universe Experience has been updated with a bit of news. The band will be releasing their debut album in USA on February 21st through Nightmare Records. Besides, the band is busy with the composing of the next album.

We've now been informed about the correct dates for the 2 bands set to tour with King Diamond throughout Scandinavia, Loch Vostok and Secret Sphere, and we have added these dates and venues to the concert-list found in the menu on your left.
