BIOGRAPHY
Angra's vocalist Edu Falaschi released his first solo album in 2007. The project is called "Almah" and it relies not only on Edu's talents as a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer but also on the likes of drummer Casey Grillo (Kamelot), guitarist Emppu Vuorinen (Nightwish) and bassist Lauri Porra (Stratovarius). Many other special guests shall appear in "Almah", like Mike Stone (Queensriche), Edu Ardanuy (Dr.Sin), National Brazilian Gospel Choir, etc.

The whole album was mixed in Brazil by Adriano Daga, responsible for the production of many important Brazilian artists and also worked with some iternational artists like Silverchair, Lenny Kravitz, etc. Adriano Daga won a GRAMMY award in 2005.

Edu recorded all keyboards, some guitar riffs and all acoustic guitars himself and came up with the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, vocal and orchestral arrangements.

The album had a worldwide releasing, by AFM Records in Europe, Canada, USA, and Australia and by JVC Records in Asia.

In one month Almah reached the 23th position, as best album, in Germany, and got many other awards in Japan and Brazil.

The first shows for Almah was in 2007, July, 19th and 21th, in São Paulo and Curitiba, Brazil. At those first two concerts there were more than 5.000 crazy fans, screaming and singing Almah's and Angra's songs.

Due to such a big success, Edu Falaschi decided to turn Almah into a band as opposed to only a solo project, so Edu built a great team to join him and make the new album: Felipe Andreoli (Bass) also from Angra, Paulo Schroeber (Guitar), Marcelo Barbosa (Guitar) and Marcelo Moreira (Drums).

In summer 2008 Almah hooked up with Intromental Management for worldwide promotion, management and booking. The new album will be released in September 2008 worldwide by the same labels as the debut album.

With the second album the band is looking at touring Latin America, Europe, Japan and other countries, during 2009. Stay Tuned!
